FJallraven PAK Winter Sleeping Bag Review

My name is Corey F. and I live in and around the Vancouver area. I enjoy camping all over the world, and my favorite sleeping bag is the PAK Winter Sleeping Bag by the brand Fjallraven which I bring on every camping trip. I mainly purchased it as its lightweight, yet able to keep me warm up until -15°C.

Camping in the winter is something that my friends and I really enjoy doing, so I needed something that could keep me warm when the temperature went into the negative numbers, and the PAK Winter Sleeping Bag has definitely not disappointed me.

I wouldn’t suggest using this sleeping bag if you decide to just rough it out on nature’s floor, as I don’t think it would do too well in the rain, and could get wet from the moisture of the earth.

I sleep in a tent so I don’t have to worry about the rain, otherwise I probably would have bought another product.

I love how there’s only a half zipper which keeps me warmer and stops the sleeping bag from losing too much warmth. There’s a very useful pocket in the sleeping bag as well which I usually put my watch, and lighter in, which I sometimes need to use in the middle of the night.

The chin flap is very comfortable as well. I have no complaints when it comes to this bag.

It did take me a long time to figure out exactly which kind of bag I wanted but Fjallraven has you covered, they’ve got a bag for every situation.

The key is to really think about how you’ll be using your sleeping bag and you’ll be able to choose the right one.
