Your Glacier National Park Adventures

glacier national park adventures

These are real-life adventure stories submitted by readers and fans of Glacier National Park Travel Guide

Glacier National Park is wild. It's unpredictable. It is always an adventure.

Everyone who has explored this vast park has at least one (usually dozens) of stories. Every hike has the potential to turn into a real adventure!

Did you spot a grizzly bear mom far off in the distance walking with a cub? Or was the snowpack unexpectedly too high on a trail but you continued on anyway? Or maybe you saw the most beautiful sunset while backpacking near Bowman Lake?

Perhaps a family of mountain goats forced you off trail... or you awoke in th middle of the night during a backpacking trip to the sound of wolves howling and yipping through the night?

We all have adventure stories from Glacier National Park. This page is dedicated to them.

This page is also home to the June 2011 Facebook Fan Page Contest.

And Congratulations to Kaitlyn! Her story about Watching Big Horn Sheep Fight at Logan Pass won her $50 to REI.com!
