How to Plan a Glacier National Park Vacation

We are spending 6 glorious days admidst the wilds of Glacier National Park, but with so little time I need an itinerary.

Is there a boat tour of the Glaciers?

We are coming in the last 2 weeks of September. Will we still be able to find decent lodging and things to do?

Finding lodging in Glacier National Park at the end of September should not be a problem, but I'd still recommend making reservations.

There are no boat tours of the Glaciers (you need to hike to them), but there are boat tours of the larger lakes.
